WHAT TO BRING

Shoes (sandals and closed toed shoes for team comps and open recreation).

Sleeping bag/blankets and pillow (for overnight campers).

Personal hygiene items and towels.

Sunscreen and sunglasses.

Bug spray.

Bible, notebook and pen.

"Team Comps Flare" (wigs, costumes, capes, masks, face paint, etc.)

Water bottle.

Clothes you won't mind getting messy.

Swimsuit and towel (no inappropriate two-pieces or speedos, see dress code below)

Flashlight.

Weapons or Fireworks

Pornography (digital or print)

Alcohol, tobacco or illegal drugs

Anything you wouldn't want lost, damaged or stolen. Personal electronic devices are used at your own risk.

DRESS CODE
LADIES: WHEN IN DOUBT DRESS MODESTLY.
• No spaghetti strap tank tops.
• No low cut or bare midriff shirts.
• Please wear a one piece swimsuit or appropriate full coverage tankini for the whole week, our time at the day away also has this expectation.
• Shirts and cover ups must be worn at all times unless you are swimming. • No high cut shorts.
MEN: WHEN IN DOUBT BE MINDFUL OF WHAT YOU ARE WEARING
• No cutoff t-shirts
• No speedos
• Shirts must be worn at all times unless you are swimming.
**If we have a dress code issue, Lead female counselor or Lead male counselor will have a conversation with the student about next steps.
RULES & REGULATIONS
GENERAL RULES
• Participation is required at all Teen Camp 2023 programming by both Overnight Campers and Day Campers. • Be respectful of Teen Camp Staff and Winding Creek Camp staff.
• No pranks or practical jokes will be permitted.
• No public displays of affection.
• No swearing, cursing or vulgar language will not be permitted.
• Guys in guys dorms. Girls in girls dorms. No exceptions. None.
• Please do not deface any camp property.
• You have to eat during the day.
• You have to sleep during the night.
• You have to take your prescribed medication.
• All campers must follow the dress code.
• Campers must remain in cabins after curfew.
GROUNDS FOR DISMISSAL from Teen Camp
(Any of the following behavior may lead to student dismissal at the expense of the student's family)

Intentional physical harm to others or to oneself.

Fighting.
-
Any possession of weapons, firearms or fireworks.
-
Any possession or consumption of tobacco, alcohol or illegal drugs.
-
Theft or destruction of property.
-
Being in the dorm of the opposite sex.
-
Any sexual activity or nudity.
-
Leaving your cabin after curfew.
-
Repeated offenses against 'General Rules'.
